THE STUDIO IS COMPLETE! It only took about ten weeks, and it turned out better than we ever could have imagined. The studio itself is about 500 square feet, and the ceilings are over nine feet tall. I'm in the process of decorating, but had to share some pictures!
This is the view from the top of the steps. The floors are real maple!
From the other end of the room - I'll put big portraits on the "focus wall." The dormer with the window seat is my favorite part.
When I did my first senior portrait, I realized how tiny my lights seemed in such a big room. I've bought new ones since then (you'll see them below).
